Simon Says: Happy Birthday!

Hello crafty friends and it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge! We are celebrating the Wednesday Challenge’s 16th birthday!

This week Simon Says: Happy Birthday and we are featuring Simon Says Stamp Brand Exclusive Products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them! Come join the fun for the chance to win a $50.00 card to the Simon Says Stamp Store!

These two products were a natural pairing, I love confetti. I ink blended my panel using my Simon Says Stamp Confetti stencil with rainbow colours and set it aside to work on my sentiment.

I die cut the sentiment from black card stock and black fun foam and glued it together. I also die cut the sentiment from gold specialty card stock.

I glued my sentiment to the panel and then glued the gold confetti from the second die that I cut. I also added some clay confetti in rainbow colours and finished with white gel pen detail on the black sentiment!

Simon Says: Fun With Stencils!

Hello crafty friends and it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

I ordered this amazing set by Pink Fresh for the holidays but the Canada Post strike made it that it was delivered in late January. I could not resist inking this one up! I love pink for a holiday card so I went with that for my berries and background :)

I started by stamping and embossing my image, I used the accompanying stencils for this amazing tree by Pink Fresh. I ink blended using Distress Inks and die cut the image. I ink blended my large polka dots stencil on the background panel and then added my tree using foam tape.

I white embossed my sentiment and used the accompanying die then added it with foam tape. To finish off, some Blush clear drops by Pink Fresh for my embellishments! Bonus, I am ahead on my Christmas cards!

Simon Says: A Bit O' Green!

Hello crafty friends and it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: A Bit O' Green and we are featuring always super fun Mama Elephant products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them! Come join the fun for the chance to win a $25.00 gift card to the Simon Says Stamp Store!

I LOVE St-Patricks's Day! It's my favourite day of the year! I am half Irish so we celebrate annually and it is my end of winter marker! Best day of the year! I love making an annual Irish inspired card to underline the day.  I used the super sweet Mama Elephant Little Elephant Agenda set for this one. What is luckier than offering an elephant!

I started by stamping and colouring my elephants and die cut them. I get them aside to ink blend my cloud background using Distress Inks.  I die cut my Pretty Pink Posh Shamrocks and Lucky dies.

I added my Shamrocks first using a mix of glue and foam tape then my sentiment and then placed my elephants! To finish off, some white gel pen detail and my favourite Iridescent gems!

Simon Says: It's A Stitch Up!

Hello crafty friends and it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: It's A Stitch Up and we are featuring Tim Holtz products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them! Come join the fun for the chance to win a $25.00 gift card to the Simon Says Stamp Store!

This card was so fun to make, it really has a spring vibe and that makes me happy. I ink blended my Tim Holtz stencil and then for my "Stitch Up", I used an older MFT stitched border die. I set the panel aside to work on my florals from the Tim Holtz Funky Floral Wreath die set.

I die cut my Hello from black card stock and Sugar Crystal glitter paper and glued it to the panel to act as the anchor from my flowers.

I glued my florals using a mix of foam tape and glue to the top of the Hello die and added some bling. To finish off, I added the panel to my card base using foam tape!

Simon Says: Anything Goes!

Hello crafty friends and it's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week Simon Says: Anything Goes and we are featuring Penny Black products - it isn't a requirement to use them but if you have them we would love to see them! Come join the fun for the chance to win a $25.00 gift card to the Simon Says Stamp Store!

Once in a while I really like to do a more "artsy" card. I just love this stamp set by Penny Black, I am kind of obsessed with leaves. I started by ink blending the strip on my panel and then stamping the leaves on top. I was going to leave it black but why do that when you can use your matching FineTec paints!

Just to add more, I decided on splatters! Same paint set but added the gold with the matching leaf colours. I set the panel aside to dry.

I die cut my Simon Says Stamp Miss You dies using glitter paper (I have an obsession with glitter paper). Once the panel was dry, I went over my image with my black pen. Added the sentiment using foam tape and to finish off, my favourite iridescent gems!
