Lawnscaping 105 - Watercolour

The challenge this week over at Lawnscaping is watercolour. I. Struggle. With. Watercolor! These challenges are very good for me to practice with mediums that I may not turn to automatically.  I used a mix of Gansai Kuretake watercolour paints (flowers) and the new distress Mermaid Lagoon (background).

Products used:

Stamps: Lawn Fawn Our Friendship Grows (sunflowers) and Hello Sunshine for the sentiment
PPP Sequins
Gansai Kuretake watercolour paints
Distress Mermaid Lagoon ink pad
versafine Onyx Black ink
White gel pen
Copic C3 for shading
PostIt for masking

Thanks for taking the time!

  5. I found your card on Flickr and I must say I am so very in love with this card. The sunny yellow flowers smile at me and the beautiful blue reminds of a new day.....your card inspires me to use my water colors more often. Thank you for sharing, it definitely has me smiling.
