Runway Inspired Challenge #72 - Hervé Léger

I am in love with the inspiration photo from this weeks Runway Inspired Challenge.  That dress is to die for in my opinion!  I coloured the background (on the angled panel) with three different Copic markers and then gold embossed a Hero Arts Basic Grey stamp that I just adore on top.  The beautiful colours and good accents on the inspiration dress were my starting point.

Hello Fall

Happy November!

Here is a fall inspired card for the challenge at Lawnscapping.  I do love fall and the colour of the leaves is my favourite part.  However, that is long gone here in Quebec.  She COLD! Lol. But that is life, it also means Christmas is coming! Woot, woot!

Hero Arts Mad about Metallics

This is the second post of the day using the same Hero Arts stencil,  for this one I silver embossed the background.  I have so enjoyed mixing new and older Hero Arts products over the last few weeks.  The bird is from a set I think I bought 5 years ago, also silver embossed. The vellum was embossed with the Hero Arts snow embossing folder, and the die cut sentiment is from Tim Holtz.

  • Mad About Metallics - Brighten up your holiday creations with touches of gold, silver, copper, or bronze. Embossing, gems, sequins and glitter are just a few of the ways you can incorporate this hot trend.

Hero Arts white-out

Happy cold day! The sun is shinning here with a slight bite in the air, beautiful fall day!  I picked up this Hero Arts stencil last week and have so been enjoying it.  This is the first of two cards featuring this stencil.

I am submitting it to the current Hero Arts Challenge.

  • White Out - Use a white card base and keep the card mostly white. (We won’t measure, but 60-70% white is a general guideline.)
